Siena repeatedly rallied hard, but came up just short in a 13-12 non-conference men’s lacrosse loss to Long Island University on Saturday at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.

LIU (3-1) led 3-1 early on, but Siena (1-2) closed to within 4-3 after the first quarter. The Sharks again separated themselves, jumping out to a 7-3 lead with 11:09 left in the first half. Siena trailed 9-7 at halftime.
