SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET
SCHENECTADY — The NAMI family support group meets from 6-8 p.m. most every Wednesday at Ellis Hospital, 1101 Nott St. Kevin Moran, a trained Clinical Social Worker, facilitates the group for family members of people suffering from a mental health condition or mental illness. Anyone with an

Public Health Director Keith Brown will address the N.Y.S. Lead Rental Registry Program. SLIC members will report on the Cornell Cooperative Extension Certified Lead Renovator course. NISKAYUNA -- The Schenectady Jewish Community Center will host a Purim Carnival in commemoration of the holiday from 2-4 p.m. on March 16 at the center, 2565 Balltown Road. Students applying for this scholarship must pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math studies in college. Each $10,000 scholarship is payable across four years of college studies. GLENVILLE — The Glenville Rotary Club and the Glenville Parks Department installed a new story at the Indian Meadows Park StoryTrail, Jason Morris Way. The story, “Finding Wild,” by Megan Wagner Lloyd is about the power of nature in urban/suburban areas. The StoryTrail is available during Park hours until next Spring.
SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY SENIOR CITIZENS
GLENVILLE — Scotia-Glenville Senior Citizens, Inc. will award three $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors living in Glenville and graduating in 2025. An additional $1,000 award will be given to a BOCES student pursuing a vocational or trade school path. Applicants should show above average academic performance, community service and have concrete career goals.
