GLENS FALLS — The Hudson boys’ basketball team’s season finished Wednesday night with a 104-55 loss to top-seeded Glens Falls in a Section 2 Class A semifinal game.
Glens Falls, who came into the game 21-0 riding a 48-game win streak from last season, led the game wire-to-wire, ending the first half up 52-27.
The fourth-seeded Bluehawks were led by junior point guard Keith Robinson, who had team highs in both points (23) and rebounds (9). Senior guard Jason Francis led in steals and assists with four each, adding six boards.
Glens Falls had four double-digit scorers — Brody Holcomb had a team-bests in points (26) and rebounds (10), Kellen Driscoll scored 23, Oscar Lilac hit four 3-pointers to contribute to a total of 22 and Aidan Prunty finished with 12 points and nine boards.
Hudson finishes its first year in Class A at 19-4 overall, following a season that marked the Bluehawks’ first Patroon Conference title in eight years after going 15-0 in the league, while the Black Bears improve to 22-0 heading into their third consecutive sectional championship.
